My Dear Hard Drive

I know I should not take her seriously enough to write a post about her, but she’s getting on my nerves as she’s on telly right now and I’m to lazy to turn the channel. :p (I’m sitting in another room, but I can hear her ranting and raving on telly.) I even checked what the net has to say about her, and found on Wikipedia that she has actually won awards for that excuse of a reality show.

I mean, she sounds like a freaking Jack Russel terrier yapping away in a car parked somewhere. “Yap yap yap, shut up! I’m speaking! I’m speaking, you shut up! Don’t you yell at me, young man!” Her idea of authority is to scream like a freaking lunatic. She’s calling the people in her court room idiots, but her own vocabulary is as vast as that of a common sailor. She has no manners and absolutely zero credibility. I honestly did not think that show had anything to do with reality which is the reason I checked Wikipedia… But then again, if she was a written character, she probably would have some sort of real authority in her demeanour. Right now it’s like a sexually and emotionally frustrated 6 grade teacher who takes her frustrations out on her class. I’ve had teachers like that. They get laughed at once the classroom door closes. And in real life, I’ve had the unfortunate displeasure of knowing such people. The good thing with them is that a bit like jack russels, these people learn their place if you’re brave enough to show it to them. However it may be, I feel nothing but contempt towards people like her and would only hope she’s one of a kind in a real court room.

I just saw an episode of the American Kath & Kim. I was shocked. It was nothing like the original, only the names were the same, the humor had been stripped down and replaced with the same ol’ same ol’ what you get with any sitcom out there. It was so disapointing!

Yes… I watch it. Still. I know exactly what a stupid brainless show it is, but I just keep watching. Here are some of the things that I find amusing.

1. If you run out of a room to end a discussion, nobody will be able to follow you beyond the door.
2. Nobody finds it icky to bang the same person that any of your family member has banged - this includes your mother and father.
3. Abortion is not an idea that ever enters the mind of a woman who is expecting a baby for her daughters husband.

Last night my Mr. Curly took me to see Sex and the City finally. Not that I had been in a big hurry to go, but of course you have to see it.
