If you thought, that women need to be as perfect as Barbie, then imagine how Barbie would feel! I’ve been collecting for 4 years now, and have not found the perfect Barbie yet. I have found the perfect Ken, he was the first collector doll I ever bought, and he remains my favourite doll do the day. He still amazes me of how life-like he is.

So, to me, the perfect doll is as much as a human being as plasticly possible. I am very demanding towards my dolls, because it is hard for a doll to be like a person. I am writing this post, because on New Year’s Eve I received a Barbie doll, which is very close being perfect.

Let me introduce you to Alex first, because, he’s like no other Ken has ever been. He is a Mattel original, which people find hard to believe as he is so far from the normal Ken people know. He is sold in a package named Jude Deveraux: Raider Barbie and Ken Gift Set.

The Barbie was dumped quite quickly, her eyes are not lusty like intended, they are either drunk or bitchy, depending on the light, so I wasn’t fond of her to the slightest. I kept her dress though. >;)

His original outfit is rather tacky, I am the first one to admit it, but wait until you put something nicer on him…
