My kind of Blogs are hard to find.
I’ve never really taken the time to look for blogs that I would anxiously return to on a daily basis or even weekly. A friend of mine once asked me that what on earth am I doing online with all the time I spend on it, but I can tell you, reading blogs is not one of my biggest pastimes. I do come across nice blogs every now and then, but rarely find them that interesting that I would want to return over and over again. I would like to though. And I have a couple on my list – some day I’ll tell you where.
I’d like you to share your favourite blogs with all of us, something that is:
- Not about blogging. I do like these blogs, but there’s so many I already have a full supply.
- Not a journal, the type that gives you dates and times and a run down of what happened that day, even if they were well written. However, if they are BRILLIANT, I’m interested.
- Non-political. I just… Well, not really interested, I don’t live in my own country, USA is far away and I can’t vote here, so really politics at the moment have nothing to do with me.
- Non-religious... They make me want to argue my point and that ain’t pretty.
- Good humoured!
- Clever. By clever I mean clever, and not a blog that is all about bashing other people, their blogs or their fashion sense, underlining what a clever damned blogger I am for pointing these things out.
- Is pondering, half personal. The kind that takes examples out of life and ponder why these things happen and the sort.
- Creative non-fiction. (I like fiction in another form. It doesn’t allow much discussing unless is criticism, and I’m not up to that.)
- Is not a video or photo blog. I know I’m alone in this, but I don’t find them that interesting. I’ve got TV for visual stimulation.
- The blogger likes communicating, both on their own blog and others. They see the blogosphere as a huge discussion board instead of focusing on their own navel fluff. (Not that there was anything wrong with it, just not my cup of tea.)
- Has a nice design. Unfortunately the superficial rules here again… I do like blogs with a bit of flare instead of the WordPress Default Theme… (I prefer pink.)
Did you get the idea? If you know any of these kind of blogs, do tell me.
