My Dear Hard Drive

I was watching the telly last night, and there are a lot of worthy causes out there wanting your money. Unfortunately we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel ourselves, so I thought that the least I can do is to start posting about some fantastic organisations on the blog and at least help that way. There is plenty to choose from. I’ll start with this one:

Adopt a pensioner of Australia. The situation is, that a lot of pensioners can’t make the ends meet with their pension payment that should cover the rent, food and every other expense that life springs at you even if you are 70 years old. The prices are going up, the pension isn’t going anywhere. So, this organisation started when Amanda Pike took it to her own hands to find help for the elderly people in Australia. Now you can sign up and find the kind of old bugger that would need your kind of help. I highly recommend this for people who haven’t got a grand parent left, or are deprived of stories of “the good old days”. Sarcasm aside, I really do like those stories.
